Joe Smith & Charlie Dale (1938-1939)
Joe Smith and Charlie Dale, longtime partners in vaudeville, came to Hollywood in 1938 to appear in 2 shorts under the direction of Charley Chase. It is said that Jules White was not a very big fan of the team, so their stay at Columbia was brief.
